· Are you a sinner according to God's standard?____________

· What is the penalty for sin?__________________________________

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." -Romans 6:23

DEATH means "separation". There are 3 kinds of death:

· PHYSICAL DEATH-- is the separation of the spirit of man from his body.

James 2:26 says, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.".

· SPIRITUAL DEATH - is the separation of man from God because of sin.

Ephesians 2:1 says, " And you hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins".

· ETERNAL DEATH - is the eternal separation of man from God in hell

Revelation 21:8 says, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death".

· Will God accept your righteous works as payment for your sins?__________

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. " - Isaiah 64:6 KJV

· Are you able to keep all the laws of God? ______________________

What is the remedy to this problem?

Jesus is the only Saviour

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. " -- John 3:16 KJV

· Who is the only way to the Father?_____________________________

Now is the opportunity to be saved

· How can you obtain salvation according to Ephesians 2:8-9? ____________________

· Is salvation the reward of a man's good works? (v.9)______________

FAITH INVOLVES REPENTANCE, ACCEPTANCE, AND COMPLETE RELIANCE ON JESUS.




Repentance is agreeing that you are a sinner, and that you have sinned against God. It is hating your sinful doings and deciding to turn away from your sins.

Faith involves acceptance of God's forgiveness through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. It is complete reliance on Jesus and the saving power of His blood shed on Calvary's cross.

(Psalm 51:3; 119:128; I Peter 1:18-19)

· Will you trust Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour?___________

WHAT MUST YOU DO?

· Admit that you are a sinner (Psalm 51:3).

· Repent of your sins (Luke 13:3).

· Accept the fact that you can't save yourself (Titus 3:5).

· Acknowledge that only Jesus can save you because He died for your sins (John 3:16).

· Trust in Him as your Lord and Savior (John 6:47).

· Receive Him as your Lord and Savior (John 1:12; Revelation 3:20).

· Do you believe that you are a sinner but that the blood of Jesus is sufficient to save you from your sins?

We are saved by grace through faith (Eph.2:8-9). God knows our hearts if we are sincere in our faith on the Lord Jesus or not. We receive the Lord Jesus through repentance and faith. True faith comes as a result of hearing the gospel and understanding it. The Bible commands us to call on the Lord (Rom.10:13)(Rom.10:17). Prayer is an expression of our faith.
